My Dad bought this truck new in 1956, And he used it as a push truck for his dragster. And after building this motor how he wanted it ,He did infact set the track record at bayland speedway in fremont Ca.The body is very straight and there is no bondo thru out the whole truck.When He was'nt out Drag racing he was in his shop doing custom cars and showing them in shows like the oakland car show. he made a color called chicano purple and i found a gallon of it a while back so i decited to paint the truck it in his honor. Unfortunately i only got the inside of the cab done so far but it doe's look beautiful, It has a roll pan on the rear and 6 bullet 59 cad tail lights. the motor is all back to stock but i do have the original header and a bunch of other spare parts like a spare big back window and stearing columne just to name a couple things i hate to have to part with this truck its been apart of this family longer then i have. It is on a Non OP and it has been park in the garage for quite a few years but it does fire right up unfortunately when i moved it from the ranch up in the hills down to the valley it sat out side for 2 nights and some one stoled the radiator this truck is pretty much all original I am asking $15,000 and i know that this truck is worth way more a 56 ford small window with a rough body and no engine or trans sold on ebay for $8000 if you are interested feel free to call and i can answer any question you have.
