1956 Chevrolet 3200 series 1/2-ton Long Bed Big Window Deluxe Cab.
Left the St. Louis, MO factory painted Omaha Red (repainted in the 70s) and sold to Montana rancher, passed to son, son traded to dealer, I purchased from dealer in 1980.
Maintained as reliable everyday driver. Regular service records. Original mechanical configuration maintained where practical. Always licensed. some spare parts included.
Factory 4-speed, V-8 (1987: replaced original 265 with 283 of 58-59 vintage in 1987 and rebuilt in 1998), Rebuilt original 3:90 differential with Richmond 3:38 gearing, Rebuilt Trans, Rebuilt carb, Rebuilt vacuum wiper motor, Rebuilt steering mast and steering box, Rebuilt heater core (standard heater). Has both driver and passenger sun visors and arm rests, original radio (not working), under bed spare, modern radiator, original Hydro-Vac brake assist, oilbath air filter, replacement floor mat, both sides original style chrome side mirrors (not mounted) are included. Two mounted and studded snow tires will go with.
Sheetmetal poor...needs sheetmetal work/replacement if cosmetic restoration is the objective.
Various spare parts go with including an extra instrument cluster w/ nice 'glass' (plastic), chromed bezel and all instruments, factory shop manual and owners manual, 2 folders of maintenance records, recepts, info, etc spanning 28 years.
