Description

This truck was purchased new by my father in Southern California in 1972 and inherited by me about two years ago. It has approximately 117,520 miles on the odometer. It has the original 402 which was rebuilt with the 400 trans. I do not have any documentation on the rebuild but I know it was completely overhauled and driven very little after that as Dad was in his late eighties by then. Power steering, power brakes with front disc. Factory AC converted to R134 refrigerant. The AC/heater slide switch in the dash is not connected but both the heater and AC work well and can be selected manually. I believe the cable is missing a clamp of some kind under the dash. It has dual fuel tanks that came with the truck that need the plumbing reconnected. It has new tires and aluminum wheels. It was repainted original factory blue/white several years ago and mostly garaged since. The paint is in very good condition with the exception of a few nicks and scratches from normal use. The tailgate has some slight damage in the form of a horizontal scratch and dent. The only rust I can find is on the lower rear section of the right front fender. There is a trailer hitch and a electric brake controller installed. It has the original upholstery and interior and is in very good condition overall but has a split on the drivers side seat. There is no radio. Overall condition is very good but could use some minor cosmetic upgrades. This truck runs great and everything works. I can email detailed photos on request.
