Even the cab corners are original although some repair work has been done. Engine: 235 CI high oil pressure 6 cylinder. Completely rebuilt mid 2000's with 3500 miles on engine. New crank, valves, pistons bearings, etc. New radiator and new custom radiator overflow tank. Converted to 12 volt throughout, with new components (alternator, starter, etc.). Electronic ignition and custom spark plug wire set. New Offenhauser aluminum valve cover. New differential, new gear set, and bearings. New brakes, all parts, including wheel cylinders, master cylinder and wheel cylinders, some new lines, shoes, etc. New horn relay and remounting of horn under driver’s side fender. Running boards recently redone, new step pads and new bolts. Some new glass. Door glass orginal. Many bolts replaced were replaced with stainless. New hubcaps and trim rings and on the spare too. The tires are newer and appropriate for the truck. Inside the cab: New interior including side panels, headliner, floor mat. Seat and interior has recently been repainted. New custom panel and voltage meter. New 12 volt gauge cluster. Signal light switch mounted on the new panel. Heater modified to run on twelve volts. What needs to be done: Gas gauge does not work. Probably the sending unit but it could be the gauge or both…not sure. Needs new wiper motor, but not a big deal since you would never drive this truck in the rain. Needs new wood in bed. Parts that come with the truck: Custom truck cover. Spare five window top. Paint for the exterior and the interior. Other miscellaneous stuff. A great truck for anyone looking for a 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, or 1953 Chevrolet Pickup Truck who appreciates a restoration that celebrates the original look, feel, and attitude of this classic style.
